Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher met with the media Monday to preview Saturday's game at No. 19 Tennessee.

The Aggies (4-2 overall, 2-1 SEC) travel to Knoxville after suffering a 26-20 loss to Alabama last week.

Here are some main notes from Fisher's media availability:

– Fisher on where the Aggies stand at this point of the season: "We're 4-2. ... We're not exactly where we want to be, but there's a lot of football left. We've got to play a big game this week at Tennessee. We've got to get back together and go play."

– Fisher on Tennessee: "They're a very good team. Offensively, they've got a three-back system. They all have juice and are strong. Those guys are all really good players up there. The receiver, Squirrel (White), he's got juice. ... He is like a squirrel trying to get a hold of that guy. He plays physical for a guy that's 165, 170 pounds."

– Alongside Tennessee's offense, Fisher spoke highly of the Vols' defense and also praised their special teams unit. "Their punter can kick it right-footed or left-footed," he said. "I think he's only had two balls returned all year. It's all rugby stuff. He can roll to the right and kick, or roll to the left and kick it – which is a problem. ... You know, our guy's from Aussie, but he can't kick it right and left."

– Fisher spoke about Texas A&M's struggles on the road in the past and mentioned that it all comes down to the Aggies' maturity when playing away from home. "Usually what happens, mature teams play well on the road," he said. "Mature teams that are confident and trust in things and believe in themselves."

– Fisher on his team's attitude following the Alabama loss: "You saw a hurt locker room. You saw a disappointed locker room. ... You didn't see a dejected or a quitting locker room. Our kids have character, they have heart."

Tennessee and Texas A&M are set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff Saturday at Neyland Stadium. CBS is carrying the broadcast.
