Didn’t see this coming: Tennessee has opened as high as a 13-point favorite for Saturday game vs. South Carolina. DraftKings has the Vols at -13, while Caesar’s Sportsbook has UT at -12.5.

If you case you don’t remember, Tennessee lost 63-38 at USC in 2022.

But—— If they do not pick up their defense SC will smoke them. Poor tackling, and receivers can not catch the ball. Also do we not have a short to medium passing game. Why do all passes have to be 50 yards. Also seemed to get a lot of players hurt. But it was a better performance than last week.

That right there is the Offense’s problem.

And THAT is why Heupel isn’t calling games at all like last year.

Unfortunately there’s no fixing it.

Long season ahead.

I’ll still watch em all and cheer my heart out.
But this offense just can’t go Full Throttle when a coach doesn’t trust his qb. The inconsistency is just too much.

So with that now said, do you think Heupel gets back to running his offense today?

Pushing the ball deep?
Stretching the field to open the middle?
Some medium crossing routes?
Anything resembling last year?
