Tennessee will be hosting Market Square Madness for the second year on Oct. 12.

The men’s and women’s teams will both head to Market Square in Knoxville to greet fans and take part in games such as a 3-point contest.

Last year was the first time the university held the event and it was a big success. The turnout was insane.

After a year of improvement, Tennessee’s defense still has questions that need to be answered.

- Elijah Simmons broke the team down in the pre-practice huddle

Tennessee had a day off on Friday but was back to practice on Saturday.

- DeSean Bishop was absent. I've been told he was hurt in the scrimmage on Thursday and may miss some time this year.
- Cooper Mays is still absent.
- Dylan Sampson, Tamarion McDonald, Wesley Walker and Braeden Krivosh were participants but missed some time with their position groups to get extra attention in stretching.
- Bru McCoy's jersey has switched to McCoy III.
- Players seemed to have a lot of respect for LB coach Brian Jean-Mary.
- Ollie Lane and Parker Ball were the only two players we saw snap the ball in the media portion.
