Ricks 50 point offense showed up all season....

Even with Ziegler they struggled to score. No real identity bc they didn't know where to go for points, didn't drive to the rim and get to the line....only ran picks and dumped it in to guys that definitely couldn't carry an offense. Key wasn't the Key that transferred in and JJJ never improved.

Can't win in tourneys with that bad of an offense and recruiting guys who don't have offensive skills way too often

Last team that could fall out of bed and score 75+ was Grant, Bone and Schofield. So few good offensive players recruited since then that could create their own shot and score from multiple levels like Chandler.

I swear it's the worst fast break team in all of college basketball. That is coaching and Barnes mentality he's forced on this team just like the last few years since Grant and co

Day 2 Spring Practice Thoughts

Media was able to attend a portion of spring practice today. Here are some quick thoughts from what I saw:

- Ethan Davis looks great
The 4-star freshman TE had one of the best practices on the team. He looked extremely athletic and ran some great routes. He was getting looks with the first team.

- Arion Carter made a big play
With the offense and defense squaring off, Milton ripped a ball up the middle attempting to find a receiver on a slant. Arion Carter leaped up and made an extremely impressive grab to come up with an interception. Heupel and the defense were fired up.

- Squirrel White looks locked in
Should be no surprise but White looks like one of the best receivers on the team. Obviously, his speed is still there but his route running looked improved, as well.

Basketball STORY: Vols' Rick Barnes has high praise for FAU: '33 wins speaks for itself'

Tennessee may be the higher-seeded team and favored, but Rick Barnes and the Vols aren't paying any attention to that.

They know just how good Florida Atlantic is.

"Like I said, 33 wins – to me – speaks for everything that they're about."
