Caught up with Jimcoily yesterday for a quick update. He took a Jr. Day visit to Stanford during the recent contact period and told me he plans to hit up LSU and make a return visit to Tennessee in March. Other standouts in his recruitment seem to be Oklahoma, Louisville, North Carolina, and Michigan. He's a long-framed defender that played corner this past season, but can also play safety and outside linebacker as well.

Tennessee in Top 6 for Cameron Sparks

Some additional quotes from his recent Tennessee visit over the weekend:

"Going back to Tennessee, it was fun. I got to talk to Coach (Joey) Halzle and Coach (Josh) Heupel. I usually spend most of my time with Coach (Kelsey) Pope, the wide receivers coach. This time it was really just more of how I would fit into their program. Breaking down the offense to me and understanding where I would go."

The Volunteers are recruiting him as a wide receiver that can also line up at running back and be a versatile offensive threat in their offense.
