Tennessee has implemented new communication tools in fall camp.

Here's how the Vols handled it in their second scrimmage of fall camp Thursday.

With the NCAA recruiting sanctions handed down a year or so ago.....

Is it now just a formality that UT does that next year when total scholarships go up another 20 or so and it won't even affect UT? I forget the # remaining that UT owes but iirc it was another 12 or so total

Tennessee opens its 2024 season in 16 days.

Dewey Warren, who wore No. 16 for the Vols, was key in revolutionizing the offense as a quarterback under head coach Dough Dickey in the mid-1960s.

DeSean Bishop has brought an old school approach to Tennessee's largely new-look backfield.

Now, he's closing in on factoring into the Vols' rotation as a red-shirt freshman.

"I don't let a lot stuff bother me."

Tennessee running backs coach De'Rail Sims will meet with the media for this first time in fall camp following the Vols' 11th practice at 11 a.m. ET.

Running backs DeSean Bishop, Khalifa Keith and wide receivers Kaleb Webb and Chris Brazzell II will follow.

We were treated with one-on-one red zone routes at the end so we'll get straight into that after the injury report:

- Tennessee was in shells today

- In red no-contact jerseys: Cameron Seldon, Jackson Mathews, Peyton Lewis, Emmanuel Okoye, Patrick Wilk

- Trey Weary was not participating. He had the same right-knee brace on and went through warmups but no routes.

- Ben Bolton and Jordan Burns remained to the side and not participating in practice.

- Hunter Barnes did not have pads on but was present. He did not participate.

- I did not see Rickey Gibson III during the open periods. He was not participating in the one-on-one routes.

- Did not see Braylon Staley, either, and he did not run routes.

Tennessee opens its 2024 season in 17 days.

Tee Martin, who wore No. 17 for the Vols, led the program to an unbeaten season and national championship 1998.

Jermod McCoy has bolstered Tennessee's secondary since joining the team as a transfer last spring.

Poised for one of two starting corner spots, McCoy continues to impact the Vols defense in fall camp.

"He is who he says he is."

Neyland Stadium at Shields-Watkins Field will remain, but the school's partnership with Pilot will be evident inside the stadium this season.

Former Tennessee forward Uros Plavsic and the Serbian national team won bronze at the Olympics with a 93-83 victory over Germany Saturday morning in Paris.

Plavsic is the third former Vol to win an Olympic medal, joining Ernie Grunfeld and Allan Houston, who won gold for Team USA in 1976 and 2000, respectively.
