Elite recruits could have immediate playing time at 95% of schools in America. Elite recruits should almost demand that they don’t have to play as a Freshman, except for late in the game or on special teams.

Less wear and tear. Less chance of injury. More time to learn.

If my son was an elite prospect I would throw any coach out of my house that even suggested early playing time.
