Baseball team spent May 18th until almost midnight on May 29th away from home. Split time between Starkville and then Hoover. To me, they never looked quite the same after this trip. Maybe it was just a coincidence but our worst stretch of baseball of the year came following this trip.
Tony has talked a lot about wanting to get the first SEC series at home which he got this year, I wonder if now where this program is at if it's more important to end at home. I have no problem with trying to win every game in Hoover, that mindset is part of what makes his program great. Going from an away series the last weekend straight to Hoover ends up being a lot of time on the road
