Of course Negs you can post I can't stop you nor can I read what you posted so fire away lol.
There were some disappointments in this class starting with missing on some of the better players in the state of Tennessee. Then we missed on some high profile guys such as Cam Akers, Wade, lost the Gaddy brothers, Concliffe, and possibly Ray although I will not concede that one yet.
I believe this has skewed and tarnished some peoples view of this class overall from what could of been, to this is a Dooly type class, or a class that can't win the SEC East let alone the SEC. After reading this type of stuff for several weeks then reading the 2007 top 100 and where are they now, along with being bored at work I decided to research this class from the 4 major scouting services and here is my view on the class based off of looking at each sites teams rankings.
All 4 services have our class ranked in the top 15 in the nation and 2nd in the SEC East behind Georgia and for as much hell as we give Butch, Mr. Smart did little to impress me this year so I am not going to fear them until he proves he is cut out to be an SEC HC.
Scout 10th best class 4 top 100 players in the nation Smith 29, Crosby 72, Chandler 81, Gray 80.
247 14th best class in Nation 3 top 100 players Smith 14, Chandler 68, and Gray 78
ESPN 13th best class in Nation and #1 player in the nation.
Rivals 11th best class in nation 3 top 100 players Smith 49, Chandler 80, and Gray 86

*So this class has 3 consensus top 100 players in Smith, Chandler, and Gray.
*3 potentially great OL all extremely athletic, talented, nasty, with great character by all accounts.
*Consensus top 100 player in nation that is a safety with 2 corners that have multiple SEC offers from some of the best schools in SEC. I feel Shamburger and Labruzza both will prove to be very good players before they are done.
*Solid at the least DL and LB class ( potentially better than solid depending on development)
*One of the best running backs in the nation Consensus top 100 player and a perfect fit for this offense. As well as one more SEC quality back in Jordan
*A late addition QB who I didn't realize until researching is a top 50 QB prospect on 3 sites will be huge if the loser of the QB battle leaves for depth purposes.
*Players like Jackson, Fant, and Coleman that may grow into other positions and be players,
*At least one in Murphy big time WR

Not as good as it could have been for sure!! However all in all a class that can contend for the SEC with development, lack of attrition, and work ethic.
