Here are a few names that seem like logical choices for the Vols. Some for more reasons than 1.
First is the Obvious, Chase Hayden, Vol legacy, instate player and can do several things in the backfield. Nice size with room to grow..
Second is Ty Chandler, also good size and an instate prospect. Seems MBA has been a tough place for the Vols to get prospects out of over the years however..
Third is Trey Sermon, a more traditional runner from Marietta GA. Real big prospect at over 220 lbs. currently. Think he ends up in the SEC as Au, Fla, UGA, and the Vols all seem to be in it for him.(OKLAHOMA SOONER)
Fourth is Javon Leake, He is 6'1 195 lbs. The Vols are certainly one of the more traditional schools on his offer list and being from NC the Vols seem to have some interest from him. USCjr as well as UNC are interested as well. https://tennessee.n.rivals.com/news/leake-high-on-vols
Lastly, Damon Williams, a tall rangy type back with a frame to get real large. He must get stronger but at 180 lbs. he doesn't seem to have a long way to go.. He is also close to Tennessee, as he is from Gadsden Alabama. Offer list only boasts 4 SEC offers along with a Michigan offer..
Any other 2017 RB's that are a legit talent and a legit possible Vol commit down the road..????
