I'm sure everyone will argue App State doesn't compare, but they are better than most give them credit for imho. Regardless, 1998 could have just as easily been a 9-3 season. And I'm not even remembering any of the other close games.
Peyton lost to Memphis, and Appy St. has a better football tradition than them over past 20 years.
Kinda glad this team got NO breaks at all and faced down adversity. Hype will stop, and the REAL work is now in front of these coaches and players.
