Good Afternoon Volquest,
I’m writing on behalf of DrVols wife & Family. I’ve been in contact with the family for now 3 years since DrVols done my wife’s cosmetology dental work at his dentistry in Athens, TN. at Davidsons Dental. I know David pretty well and a personal friend of mine. He was Coach Fulmer, Bobby Majors, Johnny Majors, and many many many more Dentist. Honestly, you’ll never find a more genuine man loving caring and honorable then him. I can’t go into details at this time but “DrVols has had to retire for health reasons”. His postings have had nothing to do with alcohol drugs or so forth. But he has a very serious health issue that I just cannot discuss at this time. The family is sorry, but we just cannot discuss it at this time…
I can only say my heart breaks what I know and breaks the way people treat him on here. My wife had $20,000.00 worth of teeth work done by him for $9,400.00, $9,400! He didn’t have to save my wife teeth where people here in Florida Gainesville, and Tallahassee where wanting to do things that just didn’t need to be done. He done somethings that we had never heard of, but made it happen because just the generosity out of his heart! He didn’t have to help my wife out but did. It wasn’t my wife’s fault that she had a missing tooth from birth because of genetics. Her parents couldn’t fix her teeth because they didn’t have the money, she was raised in a very poor environment so they never got fixed. What you don’t know is Dr. Davidson has helped MANY people through the years as a Dentist. He did major discounted work for meth addicts or drug addicts that had destroyed their teeth because of drugs that went through a program got clean and did the work at cost! I’ve not mentioned 4-time National Dentist of the Year!
I could go on and keep blowing your mind...but won’t.
I try to leave hints for people to stop but get ignored. I can’t tell you how my heart breaks for my brother! I request as does his wife and two daughters who love DrVols/ Dave to please just be friendly with him because honestly this is all he has left to love since retirement. I’ll be heading up to see Dave in August & September where I’ll probably go to his last game that he will ever go to in Neyland Stadium! He’s been a season ticket holder for 30 years and hasn’t missed a game in I believe 35 years if I’m correct and been to every bowl game in that span too. I just ask that you pray for our fellow Vol who has served many times on the Board of Dentistry of Tennessee and Graduated from the University of Tennessee! Now, he won’t see this because the account is being blocked from him (from his wife not Volquest) so I can do this for his wife.
