In your opinion, will it happen and when?
I personally would love to see this.
1. Ensures the best team wins it all.
2. Rewards potential 1& 2 loss teams that peak at the right time.
3. Provides a lot more hope and excitement for a lot of fan bases and college football in general.
4. Obviously, would generate a ton of money.
The big downside is an extra game for the teams involved. That could be remedied with removing the 12th regular season game, although that's not likely because schools would lose money.
