I had us winning 10 games, picking up number 10 in the bowl game. Am I disappointed? Mildly, you don't lose to Candy at UT. We shouldn't have lost to SC, but we were primed for a loss with all the Hurd turmoil and injury problems. Frankly, it was an honor to watch Barnett play and break the record and to watch Dobbs get as close as he did. Was the season a loss... if you think it was, just remember Dooley and his years, we would have given our collective left nut for a 9- win season back then. Next two years are big for Butch. Hopefully he is growing and developing into a big time coach, if players can develop... why not a coach? I'm excited about the future, but then again I'm always excited for my Vols.
