Just to be fair, I here people saying how can the Gator defense be better than last year's defense, they had 5 players drafted? Well, off the 97 defense we had 4 guys drafted in the following draft, Fair,Gaines, Brown, and Little. I am 38 tomorrow and I can still remember how unsure our fan base was about 98. The 98 defense had 3 players drafted after that season Terry, Johnson, Wilson but most still rave about the 98 defense. It's just a complete random observation. Take from it what you will. Anyway, Vols whip some Gator ass! 37-16
