I know Brent has posted some notes here and Rob had a Cam Akers note here, but here are a few other things we picked up today:
Fred Hansard told me Tennessee was his favorite visit he's taken and they are firmly in the mix now. He said he will be back for another visit. His parents came with him and I think the Vols are a legit option now.
I think Nick Brahms really likes Tennessee and Auburn. North Carolina is in the mix, too, but I think Auburn and Tennessee are fighting for this one. Brahms was just at Auburn and that's where his sister will be a freshman next year. And, it's only about four hours away for them so I think they could hold the edge right now.
But, he really likes Mahoney.
Darrian Felix, a running back out of Tennessee, said the Vols are in the mix as well, now.
And, another surprise visitor, four-star Justin Marshall said the Vols are in his top three now and he will visit again.
