As of last Monday, the administrators of her hospital group said that the COVIN "patient surge" was going to begin "within the next one-two weeks." They've been bracing for it ever since, even severely restricting access to patients in all units.
As of yesterday morning, they've amended their prediction, and now state that they're expecting the "patient surge" to occur three weeks after the initial announcement (approx 11 more days).
It's anecdotal at best, but (at least in Louisville, Ky) the spread doesn't appear to be occurring with the ferocity that was initially predicted.
