Who are some defensive guys that are having big success as head coaches. I mean those guys with defensive backgrounds, who’ve had large success as a head coach.
Saban obviously and I know some will throw Kirby in the mix but the very reason he hasn’t won a Natty with the absolute monster he has built and is building is because his offense struggles.
Face it. If you’re not an offensive guru, you’re not going to win it big.
Of course what Kirby is doing is something I’d take in a second but unless he hires an offensive stud and completely turns it over to him, I don’t think it’ll get him the ultimate prize.
Ed O would fit the bill but when the genius let, so did his “luck”.
