You can reasonably argue that we played Georgia and Alabama as closely as we played Georgia State. Minus JG's now infamous play against Bama you could make an argument that we played Bama closer as as Jesse pointed out but for the last second TD we basically were getting beat by 2 TDs against GSU.
How crazy is that? I'm not sure if it is a ridiculous indictment of the staff or an incredible compliment on the in-season coaching and development job. I guess a little of both.
