When I made the post about Sewell having two bad outings I did not expect so much outrage and name calling. Hell yes I am happy about this team and about two straight SEC sweeps. And I was not complaining about Sewell, just making a comment since he has had two bad performances in big games. I hope the kid gets it right and plays great the rest of the season. Why would I not want that. He is an important cog in relief rotation.
This happens in baseball and especially with pitchers who pitch with his style. Every team must continue to improve and as been pointed out, we need to be better on infield defense, base running, and Sewell at his best needs to get back on track to be even better. Any other team in America would be happy to be where we are, and so am I. We are the bully on the block and that is the way I hope it stays, right through Omaha.
