It was mentioned that Mike ? the USGA competition head, said that he would like to cut the fairways tonite since they have not been cut in 2 days.
My ? is how would that be fair for the 1st wave, since they have yet to play their 2nd round?
It was stated that the softer fairways for today's 36 holes kept the ball in the fairway alot better than practice rounds.
Please explain this ambiguity in set up.
