I thought I would start a separate thread so we could just talk about what Admiral needs to do to make it in the NBA. To me he should look to Semi Ojalai(sp) with the Celtics as a model. He doesn’t quite have Semi’s physical gifts but he has a lot of similarities to him sort of a Mini Semi so to speak. I don’t think Semi will ever be a star but I suspect he will have a long career. He is a versatile player on defense that can guard 4 positions at times and he can hit the open three. Coming in to the NBA he was a much better defender than Admiral is now but seeing how much Admiral improved on d this year who is to say that he can’t still improve. Semi is successful guarding bigs because he gets to the spot they want to be and he will not be moved from that position as numerous bigs has discovered. While he has at least 2 inch on Admiral, I can see Admiral doing something similar. With wings Semi just stays in front of them and has great anticipation. Admiral may not make it but I think that is the model he should follow and he should focus on his foot work and defense. Thoughts?
