After a year and a half of major golf struggles, I found the fix

And it's so simple I couldn't believe it. I went from an interlocked grip (which is what I've used since I ever picked up a club), to a 10 finger grip.
I went from hitting high, really short shots (with plenty of shanks) with my irons, to powerful, "alive" shots almost instantly.
The past year and a half my game went from consistent low-80s to only breaking 90 if my short games was on fire. I tried everything and saw multiple people. Nothing really worked.
My buddy last week said, "you played baseball, grip the club like a baseball bat."

Increased my distance with all my clubs by 15 yards and can now hit a cut or small draw when I need to. All because of a simple grip change. My last 3 rounds have been 83, 81, 84.
Golf is a funny game.
