My list with the same criteria last year was highly criticized by the board, so I figured I would make a new one and get some more abuse. This year, I have sat down with the whole roster to try to be sure that I have no glaring omissions. NOTE: These ranking do NOT attempt to consider value to our team but to rank purely based on football talent as I project the players' ultimate ceilings. Don't be shy in your critiques and disagreements, but please don't be a jerk about it either. Without further ado, here goes nothing............
Derek Barnett - Simply can be ranked nowhere else on this list
Jalen Hurd - can't put him behind anyone besides DB
Shy Tuttle - I hate that freaking UGA lineman
Cam Sutton - the PR skills push him just barely ahead of JRM
Jalen Reeves-Maybin - Butkus Award contender for 2016
Darrin Kirkland Jr. - if you didn't notice how special he is…I don't know what to say
Kyle Phillips - this requires some projection; relying on @corner36 knowledge here
Khalil McKenzie - I did have him at #1 last year
Jonathan Kongbo - he'll have to refine his football skills to achieve this, but Stripling will get him going
Chance Hall - great, great evaluation by Butch's staff
Rashaan Gaulden - Hate that he was hurt last year
Tyler Byrd - yes, I know he will be a freshman
Darrell Taylor - yeah, yeah, I know we haven't seen him yet; I still feel confident with having him this high
Jarrett Guarantano - yes, I have him above Dobbs; this list is based on my projection of guy's ceilings
Alvin Kamara - I might be skewing low based on NFL Draft value and limited PR opportunites
Nigel Warrior
Justin Martin - could have a huge, huge 2016
Drew Richmond - I really hope he proves this year that he should be here or higher
Jashon Robertson
Evan Berry - would be higher if he had showed more already at safety; elite, elite KR
Preston Williams - neck and neck with Malone for most talented WR on roster
Josh Malone - he or somebody needs to step up and be the alpha receiver
Jauan Jennings
Marquill Osborne - I expect folks to say this is high
Josh Dobbs - Elite runner as a QB, and great leader of the offense; if he develops some deep touch, could still have an outside NFL shot
Coleman Thomas
Marquez Callaway
Jeff George
Josh Smith - will very, very likely be more productive than Callaway or George in 2016
Todd Kelly Jr.
Quentin Dormady - I really think this is too low for him; but have him here to attempt to limit the backlash
Ethan Wolf
Alexis Johnson - This might be low
Austin Smith
John Kelly
Devante Brooks - Going out on a limb here, but if his knee is recovered, he will be a beast; this won't show up in 2016
Dillon Bates - biggest unknown on the roster; could be 15 or 55 on this list
Dylan Weisman - will be a battle between he and Jack Jones for the RG spot
Jack Jones - that a top-100 guy who isn't a bust could be this low is indicative of the job Butch has done recruiting
Vincent Perry - might be a little high, but maybe not; huge opportunity to run away with the slot spot
Sheriron Jones
Quarte Sapp
Cortez McDowell
Eman Moseley
Marcus Tatum - Some may think this is high, but UF was after him hard
Venzell Boulware
Andrew Butcher
Micah Abernathy
Stephen Griffin
Jason Croom
Trevor Daniel - Beast of a punter; argument could be made that he belongs in the top-30
Corey Vereen
Malik Foreman
Latroy Lewis
Danny O'Brien
Daniel Bituli
Kendal Vickers
Carlin Fils-Aime
Dimarya Mixon - With Miller, most-forgotten 2 guys on the roster
Quay Picou
Ja'Quain Blakely
D.J. Henderson
Darrell Miller - maybe the most-forgotten man on the roster
Corey Henderson
Baylen Buchanan
Charles Mosley
Latrell Williams - this could end up being pretty low in the future
Austin Pope
Nathan Niehaus - this could end up looking very low in the future
Ryan Johnson
Brett Kendrick
Jakob Johnson
Gavin Bryant
Joe Young
Neiko Creamer
Brandon Johnson - too little track record to be any higher, but the bloodlines….
Elliot Berry
Aaron Medley
Austin Sanders
Ray Raulerson
Tommy Townsend - hopefully a good punter, might be very good, but Daniel is excellent
Kenny Bynum
Riley Lovingood - even though he is this low, if he is good he could make money playing this game
Cody Blanc
Dontavius Blair - sorry, Dontavius, someone had to be here
