Why wouldn't Chandler be happy to join the Vols, even if we are able to land Akers? Need two guys and there will be tons of carries in this run-oriented offense. Plus, two studs sharing carries may keep both fresher for a longer NFL career....
There's been a number of comments recently that seem to cast some doubt on that being realistic, and just doesn't seem to make sense in this particular situation.
This should be where we make-up for losing a guy like Higgins due to our offense's strength & focus......
