Why are the UF writers, local media and fans so confident the Gators will win the East next season? Maybe it's because they have won the previous two seasons. They have starters returning on the offensive side of the ball, but the offense was completely inept in '16. They will field essentially a brand new defense with only three returning starters.
Would love to hear the boards thoughts. I work with many Gator grads here in NYC and am completely dumbfounded by their expectations next season.
