Anybody else remember when this was an OPEN DATE i/o a Bye?

We didn't advance in the tournament, or get exempted from playing in the first round. The NFL started having bye weeks 15 years back and called theirs bye weeks. Guess college had to follow.

I remember on the "Coach Billy Joe Tombob Parker Show" they used to do on Phil Williams' radio show that made fun of college coachspeak, they would talk about how they crushed Open Date .
