Anybody ever been to a Marlins game? Were flying to Miami on the 12th and need advice...

Where should we stay is the only question. I am looking at the SpringHill Suites/Miami Downton Medical Center but it looks a little sketch around the perimeter. Main piece of the puzzle is staying somewhere within walking distance to park and bars etc. Thanks in advance.
