League starts the week after the Super Bowl. Each team is required to take a certain number of players who played college near the team’s location. Some familiar names:

Memphis Express - HC Mike Singletary

Roster members who played at UT: Alton “Pig” Howard, Colton Jumper, Justin Martin, Rajion Neal, Chris Weatherd, Demetrius Rhaney, Dallas Thomas, Corey Vereen.

Christian Hackenberg from Penn St is the QB.

Some other interesting names from other teams:

Birmingham Iron - Trent Richardson (and a bunch of former Auburn and Alabama Players)

Orlando Appollos (Steve Spurrier as HC) - Austin Appleby from Purdue is the QB, but the roster is mostly UF, FSU, UCF and MIAMI guys

Atlanta Legends - Aaron Murray at QB with mostly former UGA and GA Tech Players (they also have Matt Simms, Denard Robinson and Jeff Luc).

I hope the football is pretty good and they can make it work. Would be nice to have a Spring Legue alternative with a lot of CFB ties.
