According the WSJ, HBO is finally releasing it's stand-alone subscription service for $15.99 a month. Apple, thank god, has quit talks with Concast and is preparing to release a 25 channel TV service that would be included with a one time purchase of Apple TV for $70. Basic channels but will include ESPN.
They are pushing other networks to offer single subscriptions and a large on-demand library.
