I have a hard time believing we would not have those types of numbers in SEC games against the best competition.

At least 10,000 against lesser competition in the SEC which there really isn’t such a thing since we’re no longer the punching bag / laughing stock of the conference ourselves.

The earliest home games wouldn’t have big numbers because of chilly temperatures and rain. Fix that with better competition.

Schedule more non-conference 3 game home series against close by schools like UNC, Clemson, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech who are traditionally good and throw in some farther away like Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, etc. both when it’s chilly a few early games in and when it warms up before conference play and I bet you a dollar we would average over 10,000 a game.

You can’t convince me we can’t match the enthusiasm that fans of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, Arkansas have. Our state produces just as much or more baseball talent than all of those states. We need either a huge seating upgrade to LNS or tear it down and build one that seats 14,000.

Also, there are threads on Ole Miss’ board wanting Bianco fired. One points out Tony Vitello’s low salary here at UT. They want him.

Make college baseball big time here at UT, Danny!
