IMO this staff recruits extremely in our strength areas (TN/GA/NC/SC) and has some really nice ties in some other very talent rich areas (FL/OH/PA/VA/DC) to make up 95% of our recruiting.
Contrast that with how freaking difficult it is to a) get a kid out of TX, even when he visits and loves it here (that LB who went to Tex, Diesch in '16, Reed in '17, etc) AND b) get CA kids to even take UVs here (see Adoree Jackson, all the '17 kids who allegedly were coming this weekend and cancelled, etc).
IMO, those places in particular, while both being hotbeds for tons of talent, are a combination of being too far and having too much local competition to make it worth spending literally any time recruiting high level prospects.
Thoughts @P_Fortenberry @Brent_Hubbs ?
Thanks
