It is somewhat an anomaly due to Chattanooga being so experienced and due to Forbes being such a good coach, but having to build up as a head guy from a less prestigious program (ETSU) due to the whole Pearl situation. Considering my parents met at ETSU and I now live in Chattanooga, I am not utterly appalled by the present situation, but it is kinda crazy. Have to wonder if we shouldn't have gone for Will Wade. That Chattanooga roster is pretty well stacked, although I don't know how much credit he might still deserve for the present team.
I am not throwing the towel in on Barnes quite yet, but tonight wasn't encouraging. A 4-to-18 assists-to-turnover ratio and 1-16 from 3 is tough to watch.
