Why do you believe this staff is struggling to recruit the defensive side of the ball? To close the class they landed West and Pearce which were good gets.
But they missed every DB target to AU, they missed Jacas to Illinois, missed Agu to Vandy of all places, and now they've missed on Verse which was a huge loss, and Mitchell. They wanted to pursue the DB target from Notre Dame, he didn't give them the time of day. I think you agree that Moten is a long shot.
What is up with our defensive recruiting? Is it the style of the offense? Is it the perception of our defense since they struggled this year? Is is the lack of proven recruiters outside of Garner? What's the deal?
