Listening to the podcast this morning got me thinking in regards to the whole early takes turning into late departures situation. I don't like taking a player's commitment early simply to just process the individual on down the road anymore than the next guy. But, i completely understand that it is necessary in order to keep a roster as competitive as possible year in year out. So my question is: Do you feel that the "25 Rule" has been a catalyst in regards to this practice? Do you feel that if it was say a "30 rule" (hypothetically) that maybe some of these situations would be less prevalent? I am well aware that this practice has been going on for years, but it seems to be a much more frequent occurrence since these restrictions have been placed on these coaches.
