So, the 6 polls that make up the CBI composite rankings are out (USA Today Coaches, D1 Baseball, Collegiate Baseball, Baseball America, Perfect Game, and NCBWA). BaseVOLS are #1 in each of those polls. Thus, we will also be the CBI composite #1 as well with 6 composite pts (literally impossible to score better than that).
Interesting to note that based on my (rushed) math, the #2 team in the CBI Comp will be UVA, with 18 pts. That 12 pt margin was the difference between the CBI Comp #1 and #5 teams last week. Absolutely wild to be that far ahead of the college baseball world. (All while being the #2 team based on RPI to Dallas Baptist. Go figure lol)
