We have already seen Vitello begin to set up for the SEC Tourney and beyond. Tomorrow's game with Belmont should give us good insight into how that shapes up, but I think we may very well see a new mid-week starter and maybe move him to starting a game, probably $ 3, against MSU. Certainly a coach must balance getting ready for post season with still winning and not liming into tourney play, regardless of the previous record.

Going to be interesting how tomorrow and this weekend play out. In post season you can never have too many fresh arms and for whatever reason our starting pitchers have had their problems of late, compared to most of the season. Two of our starting weekenders are frosh. Last year they were playing HS ball. Without a full year in the weight room, are they just getting tired?

We need to jump on MSU early and often in every game so coach has options and we are not in a dog fight (no pun intended) to win.

Love the strategy of baseball, on and off the field.
