I was hospitalized from this past Saturday to Wednesday due to severe seizures (I have epilepsy). 2 of the days I was in ICU and probably had 20-30 seizures during that time.

After my 5 days in the hospital, my grandmother passed away at the age of 101 yesterday.

She lived a very long and happy life. She was the mother of two wonderful people (my father being one), grandmother of three and great grandmother of four.

She was born in 1915 in a small Mississippi town and lived through many of our country's important events and eras. Think about what all occurred during the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's & 10's. Crazy isn't?

Most of her life she lived in Kingsport, TN and was married to my grandfather (Harry D McNeeley) for close to 50+ years. She had the pleasure of working for Eastman Kodak, where my grandfather also worked.

My grandmother meant so much to me because of her love, wisdom and character. She will be missed so much. I'm glad she passed away peacefully in her sleep without any pain.

I love you MomMac and glad you are with Pop once again.
