Took a group to the Galapagos and then Peru. Followed the Vols as best I could. After staying up 36 hours getting back, still stayed up to see the men piss one away. Now the predictable Holly comes through again with a new negative record. Worst mistake Pat ever made was to insist on her as HC.
I hate losing as much as anyone. But the men gave us a lot of thrills in our time in the aftermath of the bricklayer, and then the national embarrassment of a coach so-called search.
There seems to be hope with Pruitt but I have learned to not make quick conclusions for as far as coaches go. Hell, I thought after a couple of years Jones was a real coach.
But Barnes gave us some reprieve and a day later as more reflection sets in, it was a hell of a ride. And, those guys are coming back. We will be a tough out for anyone next year.
Holly is a different story altogether. I don't know her problem(s) but it is obvious that she is not a HC. I realize her contract is up next year and we could do like we did with Sorreno (sp). But Fulmer needs to have a come to Jesus talk with her right now. Let her resign with dignity, she deserves that. But bottom line is we will be having the same talk next year, just like we did the year before. And without those 2 seniors, combined with our turnover champs, we will not be as good next year.
