Has always been a great joy because it is so much more than just winning. If My enjoyment of the Big Orange depended solely on wins I suppose that I would be a miserable and bitter senile old man due to our fair share of defeats. Being a fan for me is about persevering through it all with your team -win lose or draw (yes there were draws once upon a time). The great QB Bart Starr said, "anyone can support a team that is winning-it takes no courage, But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you....that takes courage." I feel for anyone whose joy for there team is based totally on winning or losing in EVERY GAME and even THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY WON OR LOSS. I LOVE THE BIG ORANGE AND THE ADMINISTRATORS, COACHES AND PLAYERS WHO GIVE THERE ALL FOR UT. YOU give me great joy as a UT alum and Vol for Life!
