Plan for 12-18 months, waves of infections and deaths. Then we just “live with it”.

I understand where he's coming from BUT we should have a vaccine in no later than spring 2021 and most think maybe as early as this winter
Now I do agree that it will come in waves til then. Based on what I'm reading expect a smaller wave after this one dies out and then another good wave this fall and another this spring. BUT we should have a few good treatments this fall and vaccine for the Spring and this virus is helping both bc the experts say it doesn't transform like the Flu does each season making the flu vaccine only 30-50% effective
I do agree hot spots need to be locked down longer and I think they will be. Other areas of the country will open up earlier that don't have cases like N Dakota etc
