...this team is likely gonna be super focused!!! This might motivate them even more than a loss. Yes, the NCAA absolutely hosed our basketball team(both seeding and having to play teams we have already played), but we just won the SEC tournament and only trailed for like two minutes total during the entire weekend. That is just incredible. After this weekend, it would have been easy to get puffed up, but now they have something to prove. Maybe we even get some positive publicity from the sports network who have to admit the slight. All of this is going to make Tennessee a great place to play basketball. We are part of the conversation both as contenders and champions. After all, we arguing about why this team should have been at least a two seed. We have come a long way.
Also...If you all haven't been to Indy, you need to go. Great city. So many great things to do there. There are plenty of great places to eat, and tons of great things to see. This is a great day in the history of our program, not gonna let the diminishing relic of the NCAA put a damper on things.
