BPRA: Coaching "Analyst" Positions

What are the rules concerning these Offensive and Defensive "Analyst" positions that teams take advantage of? What are they allowed or not allowed to do with respect to the players, recruiting, coaching during games, etc.? For example, Mike Locksley is a Offensive Analyst for Alabama, but when Hurts came off of the field after most offensive series, he went strait to Locksely who wore a headset and was coaching him up.

Just curious.
