How is Bama a projected lower seed than the Vols?

14-9 (4-6) Tied 7th SEC / 16-6 (7-3) Tied 3rd SEC
Best wins : Gonzaga 19-2 / Arizona 19-2
Worse loss : Georgia 6-17 / Alabama 14-9
I realize Bama has more marquee wins with Gonzaga, Baylor and Houston but their losses are bad. Of their 9 losses only two currently ranked teams have beaten them (Auburn & Kentucky). They have 6 losses to unranked teams. Alabama is the only currently unranked team to beat the Vols. Our other 5 losses are all to ranked teams (#12 Villanova, #14 Texas Tech, # 25 LSU, #5 Kentucky, #23 Texas). I just don't see it but I guess I could have my orange tinted glasses on. I'm sure some will say that they win the "eye" test over the Vols.
