Specifically, a player who plays a position that makes arguably the biggest impact on the team's success, who is at times seems incompetent at doing his most fundamental job (i.e., completing passes).
I can't think of a player like that, honestly in any sport. Whether it be PG is basketball (beating press and distributing the ball), Pitcher in baseball (throwing strikes), or Goalie in Soccer (keeping the ball out of the net).
