Football is back, meaning we have survived another summer of sports purgatory (All praise to World Cup for helping us through.) Some team/recruiting questions before the team opens up fall camp.
Current Team
1. What are some of the things that JG has to do in the next month to put himself into the starter's spot? What steps has he already taken IMO in order to give himself a chance of nailing down the starting spot.
2. Who will be the number 3 QB?
3. Could Banks have a shot at being the "starter" of the running backs committee? Could he solidify that spot by WVU?
4. What does Madre London bring to the backfield that you like?
5. Do you think Chandler should have a big role in this offense?
6. Who do you expect to be the starting OL (from R to L)? Which OL that you didn't name has the best chance to move into that group?
7. If we run a three TE set, who are those three TEs?
8. Is Pope going to have a major role on this team?
9. What WR are you most excited to see? Which WR do you think will have a breakout year?
10. What do you see the DL rotation being? Who do you see being the two deep at those spots?
11. Is the LB unit the best unit on the team?
12. Who do you see being the first four up at that spot?
13. It seems Buchanan has a spot pretty locked down. Will one of the freshman be the opposite starting corners?
14. Do you see both Taylor and Thompson staying on that side?
15. Who will start next to Warrior?
Recruiting
1. This class seems to be growing in number of commitments we will be able to take. Will we have 2+ blue shirts?
2. This weekend brought a huge boost to the CB class. What is the biggest need left in this class?
3. Obviously, one never stops fighting for a 5*. But, do you think Wanya is pretty firm in his commitment? Still think he takes an OV to the Barn or are we closing that door?
4. The JUCO DT will obviously be a fight, but do you think it is getting down to us and UGA? WHo would you give the nod to right now?
5. Any other JUCO names that we should keep our eyes on?
6. What is Moore's timeline?
7. What is Bogle's timeline? Obviously, we are a legit player there. If he makes it up for the UF game, will we have a real shot at pushing for a commit?
8. If we flip Payton, would we be done at WR?
9. How long until we get another 2020 commit? Will the next 2020 commit be from TN?
10. O/U 1.5 commits between now and August 15?
