Some of the other media outlets have been doing pretty detailed previews on some of our signees (sorry, I love you guys-you are the best, but I learned a long long time ago to just assume that every player we sign wants to have dinner with Beyonce, Tupac and MLK and that kids still listen to music and pray before a football game, mom makes good food, etc) and some of them have gone pretty in-depth about certain weight and strength gains made since NSD.

My question(s) are...

1) How would a guy like Pope have been regarded back in the fall had he already weighed the 240 he has gotten up to as of two weeks ago? I know he played receiver a lot in HS and went through a late camp process, but everyone who finally saw him in person and worked him out wanted him it seemed. Had he already had the size, do you think he would have been regarded as a top 5 guy at that position? In his interview videos it would appear that he is a very in-shape 240, and he has now just gotten to campus. Said he wants to start camp at 250; gotta think he can get there... I live in Atlanta and get sick of hearing ab the Nauta guy UGA has just gotten... Optimistic that Pope is a similar player now that he is focusing on it.

2) Same question somewhat for Tatum. You guys did recently discuss his 20b gain over the winter/spring. Had he been 285 when he played last fall, how much better of a player would he have been? Is it all about the strength and weight gain for him?

Bonus... Do you think they can keep Bituli under 250 once he gets in their program? Do you think they will try to or is he destined for DE?
