The Tennessee/Vandy match-up hinges on how well Tennessee's offense can play in a game where they are on the sidelines more. Vandy wants to bleed the clock, huddle up, bleed clock, shorten the game.
It will be hard for Tennessee to find 40 points if they only get 8 possessions. Sitting on the sideline for long stretches of game tends to make an offense press and throws off their rhythm.
If, and that's a huge IF, the defense can find a few stops (particularly short drives for Vandy, 3 - 6 plays) and a turnover or two... I think the Vols win comfortably.
