What happened with his recruitment? Did we back off or was there not much interest?
From the interwebz:
**As I stated for all of last week, I believe Keytaon Thompson is the best dual-threat quarterback I have ever seen in my nearly four decades of covering high school football in the New Orleans area.
**There have been purer passers. There have been more accurate throwers. There were perhaps faster runners. There were quicker runners.
**When you consider the entire package, Thompson is the man. He spins it with most of the best that have played the game. He has got more accurate the season progressed. He was fast, amazingly fast for a 6-foot-5, 225-pound player. He was quick, able to change directions like a small man.
**When you talk to coaches, past and present, you get a large consensus who agree with my premise. I am in very, very good company. Mississippi State is getting quite a talent.
