It has been mentioned in a group conversation between some fellow Vol fans (some with pretty darn good connections inside the department) that there is tragically high dysfunction amongst certain groups of players and coaches. The players love Pruitt but apparently this group is just not coming together. And multiple assistant coaches just don’t like each other, due to work ethic.
As well it was mentioned that Pruitt is scared to death of the Corona Virus (that’s how it was said) and has greatly over exaggerated what needs to be done to keep people safe thus hurting team development. Players are exhausted by all the over precautions being taken.
